It was a milestone weekend for Bradley Performance at Snetterton, with the team securing its first overall race win alongside a number of strong performances across both the Porsche Club Championship and Porsche Boxster Cup.
With drivers Steve Wood, Steve Clark, Jim Bryan, Matthew Shears and Brooklyn Howell all representing the team across the weekend, there was plenty to celebrate despite multiple safety car interruptions affecting the running throughout the day.
Porsche Club Championship – Race 1
Steve Wood lined up strongly in the #77 Porsche after qualifying P3 on the grid, while Jim Bryan started from P13 in the #74.
Due to family commitments for Andreas Georgiou, Steve Clark stepped into the #88 car at the last minute in the AM Class starting on the grid P3 in class.
Unfortunately, the opening Porsche Club Championship race was heavily disrupted following a major incident caused by a spill at Agostini Corner, collecting multiple cars and bringing out a lengthy safety car period. The extended interruption significantly reduced the amount of green flag racing available.
Despite the difficult conditions and stop-start nature of the race, Steve Wood delivered another composed drive to secure a podium finish in third place, continuing his impressive start to the season. Steve Clark also finished in third place in the AM class maintaining his position from the start of the race.
Jim Bryan kept out of trouble through the chaos and brought the #74 car home in 10th position after a challenging race.
Porsche Club Championship – Race 2
Starting from row nine of the grid, Steve Clark in the #88 car immediately made his mark with a mega launch off the line and a brilliant opening lap.
Another safety car unfortunately meant the race finished under caution, but Steve’s strong start and early progress proved enough to put him in the perfect position to take Bradley Performance’s first race victory as a team.
Steve Wood once again showed excellent pace with another third place, continuing his run of podium finishes and adding more valuable championship points to his season tally, while Jim Bryan battled hard throughout the race and continued to push forward in the competitive Porsche Club field finishing at P7.
Porsche Boxster Cup – Race 1
In the Porsche Boxster Cup, Matthew Shears made his return to racing following injury, lining up seventh on the grid in the #03 car, while Brooklyn Howell started alongside him in eighth position.
Matt quickly settled back into the rhythm of racing and produced a solid and consistent drive to finish eighth overall, showing encouraging pace throughout the race.
Brooklyn Howell continued to impress during his rookie campaign, racing competitively throughout the field and gaining valuable experience in another strong performance to finish 10th.
Porsche Boxster Cup – Race 2
The second Boxster Cup race of the weekend saw both drivers continue to build confidence and pace around the Snetterton 300 circuit. Matt once again delivered a competitive performance, climbing to fifth place by the chequered flag after a strong drive through the field.
Brooklyn continued his promising form across the weekend, showing good race pace and consistency to secure another top-10 finish in 10th place.
Conclusion
This weekend marks another positive step forward for Bradley Performance, with strong performances across both championships and a first overall win now added to the team’s achievements.
