Anglesey Coastal 2026 | Porsche Club Championship Race Report

17th July 2026

The Porsche Club Championship took Bradley Performance to Anglesey, with our two Boxster Cup cars of Brooklyn Howell and Matt Shears taking on one of the most spectacular circuits on the calendar.

With its dramatic coastal setting, technical layout and constantly changing demands, Anglesey always provides a challenge, and this weekend certainly kept the team busy.

Race 1

Brooklyn Howell put together a strong opening race in the #05 Boxster, battling throughout to bring the car home in a solid P4.

Unfortunately, Matt Shears’ first race came to a premature end following a crash in the #03 car, resulting in a DNF.

Thankfully Matt was okay, but the car was left requiring significant work if there was going to be any chance of making it back out for Race 2.

A Huge Team Effort

What followed was a brilliant example of the work that goes on behind the scenes at Bradley Performance.

The team immediately got to work assessing the damage and repairing the #03, putting in an incredible effort to get the car ready in time for the second race.

It was a real team effort and a testament to the commitment of everyone involved that Matt was able to line up on the grid again for Race 2.

Race 2

Brooklyn continued a consistent weekend with another competitive drive, crossing the line in P5 and adding another strong result to his Anglesey weekend.

After the disappointment of Race 1, simply getting Matt and the #03 back onto the grid was an achievement in itself. He went on to reward the team’s hard work with a P9 finish, completing the race after an eventful weekend.

Onto the Next One

Anglesey was a weekend that demonstrated far more than just the final results.

With P4 and P5 for Brooklyn, and Matt returning from a Race 1 DNF to finish P9 in Race 2, there were plenty of positives to take away.

Most importantly, it showcased the determination of the entire Bradley Performance team. A huge thank you to our mechanics and everyone involved for the work that went into getting both cars out there and keeping the weekend moving forward.
